Prof* Dr Harry Yeo Kar Kiat's Personal Biography

He graduated from Sydney University Medical School , MBBS (Sydney) in 2001;

He also obtained an undergraduate research certificate from Oxford University Medical School { C.UGClinRes (Oxford) } in the late 2000s while doing his Clinical Neurology research at the Radcliffe Infirmary of Oxford University;

He successfully completed one year compulsory housemanship at both venues : Sydney's Concord Repatriation General Hospital of Australia and the General Hospital of Singapore, in 2001/02.

Officially became a fully qualified & registered medical doctor, both in Singapore & Australia in 2002;

Served as specialty registrar in Radiation Oncology @ Australian university hospitals from 2004 to 2006;

Successfully completed and awarded two specialist-level Diplomas in Radiation Oncology Basic Sciences { SpDip RadBio (Eur) & SpDip RTPhys (Eur) } organised by ESTRO based @ Europe (Belgium & Switzerland) in the late 2004s;

Appointed as Clinical Lecturer (Junior Level) in Radiation Oncology at an Australian University Medical School in 2005-2006;

Dr Yeo has become an Affiliated Member of the exclusive Australian and New Zealand cancer research Group since 2005;

Served as Advanced Trainee in Palliative Medicine (Clinical Fellow level) at major teaching university hospitals in Australia in 2007;

In 2005-2008, Dr Yeo became Member of 3 major medical specialty training faculties in Australia;

Unconditionally and legally registered as fully qualified doctor and voting member with Malaysian medical regulatory bodies since 2008.

Upon invitation and approval by relevant health authorities in Malaysia, he returned and served as Consultative Medical Officer (CMO) for Clinical Oncology Services at a key Malaysian Tertiary-Level governmental hospital in KL, Malaysia from 2008 to 2011;

During the same period of time, he was also appointed as Consultant Clinical Oncologist for Clinical Research Project: National Cancer Patient Registry (NCPR) , Clinical Research Centre (CRC), at a key Malaysian tertiary-level governmental hospital in KL, Malaysia from 2008 to 2011;

Building on a strong academic background in Radiobiology / Cancer Medicine and Clinical Medicine, and close professional affiliations with 3 major Royal-statused medical specialist training faculties in Australia for nearly 20 years, Dr HK Yeo is a highly experienced senior clinician, researcher and healthcare leader in-designate in the fields of Cellular Biology and Sciences, Cellular Therapeutics, as well as Preventive Medicine (NCD & Cancer) with special interests in anti-ageing, regenerative and immunotherapeutic medicine. In some cases Dr HK Yeo practises cell therapy, which has repair and rejuvenation properties, to help his patients alleviate symptoms and signs of premature ageing, and to recover their vigour and vitality. He is the first in the medical world to suggest the causal link between “Suboptimal Health Conditions” and “Chronic Inflammation”, and their complexly intertwined pathophysiological mechanisms. He has established the first ZÉLL-V clinical research unit in Asia – the first clinical research unit of its kind in the world focusing on Southeast Asians.
